Requirements for affixing an apostille on a power of attorney:
the notary's signature must match the signature in the Ministry of Justice registry.
IMPORTANT! In case of non-compliance with these requirements, the Ministry of Justice may issue a refusal to affix the apostille, indicating the reason for the refusal. In this case, duplicates of documents must be obtained. Money for refusal to affix the apostille is not refunded, as your document has been verified by the Ministry of Justice.
Apostille on a foreign power of attorney
An apostille on a power of attorney issued in a foreign country is affixed in the country where such power of attorney was issued. It is impossible to affix a Ukrainian apostille on a power of attorney issued by a non-Ukrainian notary.
